PARENT INVOLVEMENT

At Love A Lot Preschool we begin with the development of relationships among the parents, children and teachers, focusing on warm and mutually helpful interactions.

Parent involvement is a valued part of a child’s school experience.  Parents are encouraged to visit the Center at any time, share observations, and bring ideas to staff members.

A variety of opportunities are available for parents to participate in the program including family events, parent teacher association, volunteering in the classroom, assisting on field trips etc.

Communication is critical to the program and to each child’s development and growth. Teachers and parents have opportunities to communicate on a daily, weekly and monthly basis through conversation, daily communication logs (in infant and toddler classrooms) parent bulletin boards, newsletters and parent gatherings.  Parent teacher conferences are held twice each school year.
